Privacy Policy
Trotro Driver · last updated 3 August 2026
This policy explains what Trotro Driver does with information when you play it. In short: the game itself keeps everything on your device, and the only company that receives data about you is Google, because the game shows ads.
What the game stores
Your progress — best score, cedis in the bank, upgrades and cosmetics you own, and your sound and quality settings — is written to your device's local storage. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that Trotro Driver sends your play data to.
Advertising
Trotro Driver shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, including rewarded video ads that you choose to watch. To serve, cap and measure those ads, Google may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android);
- your IP address and coarse location derived from it;
- device information such as model, operating system version and language;
- ad interactions — impressions, clicks and completions.
Google's use of this data is covered by Google's Privacy & Terms. We receive only aggregate, non-identifying revenue reports from Google — never your identifier or anything that names you.
Your choices about ads
- iOS: the app asks for permission to track before requesting personalised ads. Decline and ads still work — they are just not personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Europe and the UK: a Google consent form appears before any ad is requested. You can reopen it later from the station's Settings room, under Privacy options.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Purchases
Cedis packs and the Depot Pass are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores handle the payment and hold your billing details — we never see or store your card or account information. All we receive is confirmation that a purchase completed, so the game can grant the item.
Children
Trotro Driver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will delete what we can.
Your rights
Because the game holds no personal data on any server of ours, there is nothing on our side to export or erase — clearing the app's data, or uninstalling it, removes everything the game saved. For data held by Google as an advertising partner, use the choices listed above, or contact Google directly. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a US state with a privacy law, you may still write to us with a request and we will answer it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new version.
